Worlds End Conservation Pty Ltd is a private, not-for-profit company. Its sole objective, as clearly stated in its Constitution, is: “to purchase and/or lease land in its natural state in order to secure such land from agricultural, recreational or any other exploitation and to protect, preserve and enhance existing landscape, (and) flora”.
As a ‘Propriety Limited’ company, Worlds End Conservation is legally restricted to a maximum of fifty shareholdings, each of which may comprise of an individual or a group of persons. In addition to registration with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC), the Company is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission (ACNC).
The Company is managed by a group of Directors, a Treasurer and a Company Secretary, all working on a voluntary basis. Directors are usually elected by shareholders of the Company at an Annual General Meeting.
